Valenzuela display in Art Studio One

RAA is pleased to display the work of Rossmoor artist Loreto Valenzuela. The exhibit includes work from her own collection in oil and graphite.

Loreto’s art is divided into two periods in two countries. She was born in Chile and started developing her art in school there, and later took her first oil painting class while she was raising her children.  She moved to California, where she got a degree and worked for 25 years in accounting and credit analysis, before returning to Chile for a year and reconnecting with her art.  She retired to Rossmoor twelve years later and has enjoyed having the time to express her art and take classes here.  Her work has previously been shown at Creekside, Gateway, and the Event Center.

The display includes striking portrait drawings and oil paintings of bright still lifes and landscapes.  RAA invites everyone to stop by RAA Art Studio One to enjoy Valenzuela’s show “From the Artist’s Collection,” which runs now through June.
