Seema Maboob teaches portrait drawing from a live model

Next session starts Wednesday, May 16
Have you wanted to know the secret to capturing the essence of a subject in a portrait?  Or just to be able to draw a portrait of a grandchild, friend or relative that you would be proud to show?

Here is your opportunity to learn. Seema Mahboob, an accomplished Bay Area artist and instructor, offers her expertise on drawing or painting portraits from a live model.

Classes start Wednesday May 16 and continue through June 6 from 1:00 to  4:00 pm in RAA Studio Two. The cost for the 4-week series of three-hour classes is $150. (Note that the class is changing from Friday mornings to Wednesday afternoons.)

The first class demo will be in charcoal. Students may then work in any medium; pencil, conté, charcoal, pastels, acrylic or watercolor.  Oil or solvent-based paints are NOT allowed in Studio Two . Class size is limited to 16 artists so register early.
