Ronald Pratt Fall Beginning/Intermediate Watercolor Painting

​Bay Area watercolor artist Ronald Pratt continues his popular watercolor painting class on Thursday mornings from 9 to 11:30 am in Art Studio One at Gateway. The series starts September 19 and runs through November 21, and is open to beginner and intermediate painters.  The cost is $125 for 10 classes.
 
The rich color palette of autumn offers artists inspiration to motivate their creative muses.  Nature, with her rich yellows, reds, golds and greens, offers up at this time of year an inspiring array of subject matter to encourage painters to put paint to paper and express their creativity.   So why not come join us at the Rossmoor Art Association Art Center on Thursday morning as we relax and explore watercolor painting.  It’s a perfect time of the year to paint with a wonderful medium.
 
Step by step demonstrations will show the process of watercolor painting while students experience the joy of seeing a beautiful painting emerge before them.  The focus of the class will be fundamental painting techniques, while encouraging the student to enjoy the wonders of watercolor painting.  Subject matter will include aspen forests, autumn lakes, a coastal scene and more.
