Bay Area watercolor artist Ronald Pratt continues his watercolor painting class through the summer. The class is on Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11:30 in Art Studio One at Gateway. The next series, sponsored by the Rossmoor Art Association, starts June 19 and runs through August 21. The cost is $125 for 10 classes, and the series is open to students of all levels.

Summer is the time to relax and enjoy the wonders of watercolor painting in a friendly, creative atmosphere at.  Summer brings with it the sense of adventure and daring to dive into something new.  There are many wonderful subjects to paint, so come join this class to release your creative muse and explore your inner passion for art.

Beginning painters will learn about materials and basic painting techniques while the more experienced painters will focus on design and composition. Pratt’s unique blend of challenging subjects and humorous approach to painting makes this class a fun and creative experience.  Subject matter will include winter scenery, abstract surrealism, and a still life arrangement.
