23 Aug RAA offers fall still-life painting class with Carol Tarzier
Bay-Area artist Carol Tarzier continues her still-life painting class this fall. The class, which premiered last spring, meets on Fridays from 1 – 5 pm in Studio One. The fall session starts September 15 and continues through November 17.
Tuition for the ten 4-hour sessions is $200. The extra hour each week allows time for setting-up, for Tarzier to demonstrate mixing and painting techniques, and for students to complete or get a good start on their still-life painting.
Oil and acrylic painters of all levels are welcome. Oil painters must use odorless thinner only.
“Each class, we will work from setups with lighting. Subjects can include metals, glass, flowers, and fruit. Bring objects you’ve always wanted to paint and use them to set up your own still-life.”
