Learn to organize, compose, and paint still life with award-winning artist, Randall Sexton. His workshop covers basic fundamentals of picture-making: creating the illusion of three dimensions, dealing with value, color mixing, brushwork, paint quality, mood and concept.
Randy paints in oil and is open to other mediums. A range of still life setups will be available addressing different skill levels, painting challenges, subject matter, and mood. Painting demonstrations and plenty of individual attention are Sexton workshop mainstays. It’s gonna be good!
Workshop hours are Saturday and Sunday 10 – 4 with breaks for lunch. Rossmoor RAA members enroll early (space is limited) with email, phone, and a check made out to “RAA” for $200 sent to R. Sexton 1400 Pomona St., Crocket CA 94525. Do not add new or annual dues to your registration payment. Membership applications and/or dues checks go in membership folder in the Gateway Art Association mailbox.
