22 May Kala Gallery Viewing & Studio Tour – June 11
Kala Permanent Collection Viewing & Studio Tour
Saturday, June 11, 10:30am – 1:30pm
Kala Art Institute
2990 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley, CA
In the morning, we will be treated to a personal tour of Kala Gallery’s current exhibit followed by a private viewing of Kala’s permanent collection that includes the works of i.e. Squeak Carnwath, Roy de Forest, Sonya Rappaport, Peter Voulkos, and William Wiley to name a handful. It’s a rare opportunity to see these works up close! After lunch (at nearby Mint Leaf, an awesome Thai restaurant), Kala’s studio manager will provide a tour of the printmaking, artist, and multi-media studios.
A donation is requested:
$5 for NCWCA members
$10 for non-NCWCA members
RSVP to Elizabeth Addison or on the Kala FB page BY JUNE 1.
It’s East Bay Open Studios, too, and there are many studios, galleries and creative complexes open nearby if you want to continue on afterwards!
