16 Apr Judith Kunzlé’s Figure Drawing Lab resumes in May
Judith Kunzlé, a Bay Area figurative artist, offers another session of her figure drawing lab in May and June, with a continuation planned for late June through July. These classes include a live model and instruction between poses.
The next session runs Saturday, May 12 through June 16 from 10:00 to 1:00 in Art Studio Two. Tuition is $130 for six three-hours sessions. New students are always welcome.
Kunzlé calls her class “Figure Drawing Lab” because the class focuses on drawing the model in short poses, with emphasis on the figure in proportion. Each class has a different focus and a different model.
Kunzlé gives an introduction before each class. She also does short demonstrations and gives instruction during the breaks. While the model poses, Kunzlé draws along with the students, and her drawings are on view as examples of how to approach figure drawing.
