From Plein Air to Art!

Sound interesting?  We are proposing RAA artists who enjoy the plein air painting experience, coupled with the company of other artists, gather twice a month on Tuesday mornings (weather permitting) at a pre-designated spot in Rossmoor.  Bring your own painting materials, a portable easel and, perhaps, a folding chair!!

FIRST OUTING will be Tuesday October 3rd at 10am. We will gather at the bench at the peak point of Stanley Dollar Drive where there’s a prime view of Mt Diablo.

NO FEES, NO INSTRUCTION.  We will assist with questions.  Keep in mind, this is an unstructured, informal gathering of RAA members and friends, not a sponsored RAA class or event.

ROSSMOOR
Where paths to our dwellings are lined with fragrant flowers, beauty to spare,
And turkeys, squirrels, and stately deer, run like a March hare,
Mount Diablo commands shadows of gold, and to climb is to dare,
Happy folks send balls from a dandelion laced golf course and they fly like a kite in the air,
3rd story flats, and ground level mansions austere and fare,
Golf carts, cycles, Saabs, and an occasional Rolls Royce are not rare,
It’s a spot to paint in colored shades from an enchanted wicker chair.
