28 Jan Figure Drawing Lab continues through March
Judith Kunzlé, a Bay Area figurative artist, offers a second session of her figure drawing lab in February and March. New students are welcome.
The session runs Saturday, February 17 through Saturday, March 24 from 10:00 to 1:00 in Studio Two. Tuition is $130 for six three-hours sessions with a live model and instruction.
Kunzlé calls her class “Figure Drawing Lab” because the class focuses on drawing the model in short poses, with emphasis on the figure in proportion. Each class has a different focus.
Kunzlé gives an introduction before each class. She also does short demonstrations and gives instruction during the breaks. There is no instruction while the model poses, but Kunzlé draws along with the students, and her drawings are on view as examples of how to approach figure drawing.
