“En Plein Aire” Painting Outdoor
May 1-31, 2023 Mondays 10:00-12:30 (5 sessions)
The plain air class taught by Afsaneh Michaels at Rossmoor Art Association (RAA)
continues outdoors. Student artists will paint directly onto canvas or paper using a
medium of their choice (the medium they are most comfortable with). Students will
learn how to frame a painting from an outdoor scene, how to capture shadows, how
to paint trees, architecture, water, light, color and other landscape elements. The
course will be held outdoors at The Hillside picnic area.
Mondays: 10:00-1:00
Cost: $135.00, non-residents $155.00
