Karen Leoni is new to Rossmoor, but has been teaching since 2012 at the Academy of Art University.  Her classes in S.F. include: Color Theory, Drawing, Still Life, Painting, Heads and Hands Drawing.

Karen Leoni’s new class is an introduction of drawing principles. With charcoal, paper and an eraser, Karen Leoni will help you to draw objects that have 3-dimensionality.  You will explore the attributes of light and shadow! Karen uses the 5 value system that takes the mystery out form and edge distinctions.  Also, cast shadows and perspective will also be introduced.
