14 Sep Cassandra Antkowiak offers “Drawing Made Easy”
Come join Cassandra Antkowiak for her exceptional drawing class, “Drawing Made Easy” on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon in Art Studio One. The Fall session starts Sept 11 and runs ten weeks. The tuition is $135.
With helpful handouts to keep and review we’ll quickly learn about basic shapes, how to make them seem dimensional, and how to use these to draw anything we choose, as realistically as we wish. Beginners are welcome, and will be happy to find different levels of artistic achievement here, because we all learn from each other. So beginners can learn faster than in a regular “starting” class!
The instructor, Cassandra, has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a crayon or pencil, and has been teaching Adult Ed through the regular school system for many years. After taking numerous art classes in college, she broadened her training with art workshops in France, Italy, Mexico, Oregon, and Mendocino, as well as the North Light Art School. Cassandra is a very enthusiastic and supportive teacher, and welcomes beginners as well as all other levels.
The class is limited to 22 students. Students may start on Sept 11 or 18 if space is still available. Before you register, please call her at 925-947-2019 before 7 p.m. for information, and to see if space is still available..
To register, send a check for $135, payable to RAA, to RAA Class Enrollment, 1966 Tice Valley Blvd., #278, Walnut Creek, CA 94595. Note on the check memo line: “Cassandra’s class.”
Along with your check, include a note with your name, address, phone number and email address in order to receive class notifications.
If you are not a member of RAA add $10 for RAA annual dues and include a new member form. Forms and a calendar of RAA activities are available at www.rossmoorart.com or in Art Studio One.
