04 Sep Acrylic Painting Class for Beginners Starts September 21

Marcy Wheeler’s Thursday afternoon acrylic painting class has room to invite four new students to participate in a 4-week beginning class in acrylic painting. Classes are from 2:30 to 5:00 pm in Studio 2 on Thursday, September 21 and 28 and October 5 and 12.
Cost for 4 classes is $72. All materials, including paints and paper, are provided!
Beginning students will be introduced to primary colors, mixing of secondary colors and to color saturation. Wheeler will teach about gray scale and glazing with transparent color.
Come learn about acrylics in a playful, experimental and relaxing way, getting into the “zone” with a modern slant on the Masters.
After you finish the beginning class, you will feel more confident going forward—whether it is in acrylics, oils, printmaking or watercolor.
